Mowden Hall Residential Camp 2023 An excellent week was had by all at Mowden Hall School last week on our residential camp. All of the players had a blast not only playing, talking , breathing and sleeping cricket, they also enjoyed making new friends whilst enjoying a variety of activities ,including swimming, tennis, football and the nerf arena. Everyone behaved so well and we were proud of our children, their enthusiasm and aptitude towards the game shone through whilst all improved their skills. Back by popular demand - Benwell Hill Cricket Camp

Summer Camp at Benwell Hill CC. August Mon 14th, Tues 15th & Wed 16th 10am til 3pm. Open to age 8+ This camp is a progressive course over 3 days, those attending full camp will get the most learning experience. Players will learn in small focus groups according to their abilities and experience to date. They will learn all aspects of match play through game based scenarios and drills testing both their mental and tactical Packed lunch required, please avoid nuts as players may have nut allergies. This camp will be weather dependant, we have a contingency for a shower or two. However if really bad weather we maybe able to utilise an extra day if convenient for all parties. Leadgate Junior Cricket Camp

We are excited to announce our next cricket camp will be held at Leadgate Cricket Club. From past experience we know this will prove very popular as our camps always fill fast. Peak season

It's been a busy few weeks for our coaching team. Last week our U13's Academy "Northern Reivers" team travelled to Thornaby Cricket Club playing Cleveland CC U14's. Despite the year difference our Academy managed to bat out 35 overs and scored 125. Which was a good effort considering our 3 youngest players on the day were aged 11. The weather was beautifully sunny all day and our coaches thought the heat from midday onwards would effect their fielding. In this case the coaching staff couldn't be any further from the truth. Although this was their first match playing together they gelled really well and attacked with a fearless attitude being rewarded with 2 run outs, 2 clean bowled, 2 LBW's and two excellent…

Our first Academy "Northern Reviers" U14 county fixture against Cleveland County on Thursday at Thornaby CC 11am start. The coaching team have worked with players in the Academy across the winter and are super excited to witness their progress. More fixtures being arranged every week across the age ranges. Another busy week for the team, coaches have been delivering sessions in schools assisting teachers in developing curriculum cricket. We continue supporting local clubs at grassroots level, growing participation and increasing the playing standards amongst their junior players. Our admin team work hard behind the scenes collating club and team enquires in addition to planning this summers cricketing opportunities including our summer camps, Academy teams fixtures and residential cricket week. Leadgate Cricket Club

Our busiest time of year comes around again. This week we have been supporting schools and clubs across the region and in London in addition to 1:1's. The team of coaches have really enjoyed seeing the enthusiasm for cricket shown by the proactive club's and school settings which is a great learning environment for cricket.
