Rain Stops Play - Temporarily

Tuesday saw the beginning of our half-term camp at Benwell Hill Cricket Club. Unfortunately the weather was not on our side, although this did not stop our talented players from wanting to continue to play throughout the weather.
Our coaches, Olivia, Freya and Adam not phased by the weather allowing us to adapt and overcome some of the adverse weather. Until the heavens fully opened, even though our players wanted to continue enthusiastically. We decided to postpone the rest of the session to the next day (Wednesday) to ensure that everyone got the most out of our summer camps.
A big thank you to our team who aided in making this possible and being adaptable to ensure the day was not spoilt by the unforeseen weather conditions.
We were also excited to hold our first training session for our U13s representative side. In preparation for the some warm up county fixtures over the summer prior to attending a residential festival at Barnard Castle during the summer holidays.
