Ever wondered what Our Northern Reivers Academy are about??
We are extending an invite to any players who may have missed out on County selection and have the desire to progress their cricketing career. Girls and boys from 11 to 19yr
Our Northern Reivers programme is designed with the aim of assisting players to achieve county recognition by the end of 2026.
This program has a proven track record of players achieving County standard Cricket, it is not intended to replace your club cricket but to enhance your skill set whist executing them during club matches.
This year we are extending our reach by holding trials in different hubs across both the North East and Cumbria. The process will start with open sessions at these different venues with the intention of extending our professional training sessions in early 2026.
Players will be selected to come together for squad training ahead of the season.
Our Northern Reivers 2026 fixtures will consist of matches against county opposition various independent school fixtures and culminating in a summer county residential festival.
Our team are extremely knowledgeable and passionate about the game. The sessions are always well thought out and give me something to take away to become a better player. They really help with mindset when playing as well as technique.
Above all the Northern Reivers programme makes learning the game enjoyable and has developed all the players match play.
