Northern Reivers
Our Northern Reivers Academy has successfully helped many young boys and girls achieve their cricketing goals of playing to a higher level. Achieved by providing additional training and support alongside current club commitments.
Feedback from previous cohorts:
“Northern Reivers coaches offered expert guidance, and our son gained valuable insights that improved his skills and boosted his confidence. Although he didn’t qualify for the county pathway, it paved the way for him to receive county recognition the following year.”
WHO: The programme is aimed at those players who’ve missed out on county pathway selection, but still have the desire to achieve more.
How: Our coaching is always small player to coach ratio’s, enhancing the players learning environment. The programme will both challenge and support the players through a system of group session’s, 1:1’s, various county level matches, then culminating in a residential festival where the players can show case their talents.
When: Starting mid to late January 2026 with 3 open sessions available across the north and different days and times. This year for those unable to attend our open sessions we are offering the opportunity to submit 3 video clips of the player in action.
If bowling preferably 1 clip of run up front on view and 1 from the side.
Batters and wicketkeepers preferably front on view.
Fielders any close up footage.
Video’s should be submitted by WhatsApp to 07840273845 with the players Name age and school year clearly stated. These will be assessed and feedback offered upon request. All those who submit video content will be required to attend in person sessions.
In person training will be provided until February half term, final selection will be announced at that point.
Our current county residential festival dates for 2026 are as follows:
Girls u15 July 26th - 31st inclusive.
Boys u15 August 9th to 14th inclusive
Boys u13 August 23rd to 28th inclusive.
New for 2026,
early engagement sessions for u10’s available.
We are offering a discounted scholarships in each age group. To qualify for these full attendance will be required.
