Player recognition time

Tuesday 27th September 2022

Well Done Ben We are pleased for Ben one of our academy players on his selection for Durham CC U14's. This is what we are all about inspiring youngsters to achieve their potential. Ben has worked really hard on his skills whilst in our Academy. He was such a great ambassador whilst captaining our Northern Reivers Team at the recent county festival. Whilst we are sad to see him go, we know Ben will grasp his opportunity with both hands and all our coaches look forward to seeing his progress. Good luck Ben

The reivers residential

Sunday 4th September 2022

First of all, I'd like to thank Graham and Adam for all their support, as I couldn't have taken the lads away without them. The boys performed well on the pitch and behaved impeccably off the field. Whilst we didn't get wins desired, I believe most counties were surprised by the threats we posed during matches. Bearing in mind most of these teams have been playing together for a long time and probably played many matches prior. I think we gelled together really well in a short space of time. Special mentions go to Varun for his stupendous bowling performance and his 5 wkt trophy in addition to being joint top wicket taker of the festival. Will Hall, top scorer of runs…

Rain Stops Play - Temporarily

Friday 3rd June 2022

Tuesday saw the beginning of our half-term camp at Benwell Hill Cricket Club. Unfortunately the weather was not on our side, although this did not stop our talented players from wanting to continue to play throughout the weather. Our coaches, Olivia, Freya and Adam not phased by the weather allowing us to adapt and overcome some of the adverse weather. Until the heavens fully opened, even though our players wanted to continue enthusiastically.
