We where in awe of all players last night at our junior and senior Academy sessions at the Royal Grammar School Newcastle. Our Coaches were very impressed with the player’s skills, in addition to their willingness to learn new skills and techniques through the scenario based challenges set. We look forward to building on the player’s foundations to improve their game, mindset and tactical matchplay over the coming sessions. Player Development Programme Back by popular demand is our winter indoor coaching course for juniors at RGS Newcastle. Following the success of our “Northern Reivers” Academy team we are excited to introduce our new player development pathway (PDP)commencing Tuesday 27th of September. This pathway will bridge the gap between Club and County enabling our players to gain Useful insights into what is most required and expected to play at a higher level. First of all, I’d like to thank Graham and Adam for all their support, as I couldn’t have taken the lads away without them. The boys performed well on the pitch and behaved impeccably off the field. Whilst we didn’t get wins desired, I believe most counties were surprised by the threats we posed during matches. Bearing in mind most of these teams have been playing together for a long time and probably played many matches prior. I think we gelled together really well in a short space of time. Whirl wind summer Yesterday marked the last summer camp we have hosted in collaboration with local cricket clubs. This summer has been good for cricket, having great weather for the game and little intervention from the rain. 2022 allowed us to work with cricket clubs we have worked with in the past as well as with new clubs which we look to continue a relationship with, going forward into the next year.
