Allroundcricketcoaching are excited to report that we're working in collaboration with Sunderland Sports College providing work placements for their students. Some of our school pupils and young players will recognise Connor and Jack pictured here, as they have worked extremely hard over the summer coaching both pupils in schools and on some of our coaching camps. They have both shown excellent commitment, focus and professionalism throughout their time with us. This has been more than evident from the feedback we've received. We are pleased to announce our popular winter training courses are coming to Newcastle High School for Girls These courses run for 10 weeks starting Friday 24th September and classes will be ability split and we pride ourselves on small player to coach ratios, enabling a quality learning experience. These courses are run by Fully Qualified ECB coaches both Male and Female. This course will focus on all aspects of T20 Cricket, technical, tactical, fitness and mental strategies. Wednesday saw the final day of our junior summer coaching camp at Benwell Hill CC. Lots of learning to place over the three days for all the boys and girls. The enthusiasm, application, attitude and dedication on display was a real pleasure for the coaches who worked with them. The "9 ball challenge" took place on Wednesday lunchtime which proved both fun and challenging. Quote of the course came when answering the question of "How do you make the ball swing?" Answer, "Has anyone got any sandpaper" Many thanks to coaches and players alike for an exciting summer camp. Today see's the end of our Girls only camp at the High School in Newcastle. All the girls have thoroughly enjoyed their camp. We have worked on all aspects of the game. All the coaches remarked on how engaged the players are and high levels of intensity were demonstrated. We believe the future of Girls cricket at Newcastle High School is more than bright and looking forward to seeing everyone progress. Well done to all players and a big thank you to all the coaches involved.
